Financial Year! A Reminder for Property and Conveyancing Clients with Existing Matters

Property Conveyancing The end of financial year is approaching us, and as anticipated the Land Registry (titles office) fees and most property search costs will increase commencing the 1^st July 2014.  We have an updated list available for all Land Registry fees applying from the 1^st July 2014, however updated property search costs will not be available to us until the new financial year kicks in.

What does this mean for you?

If we have recently provided you with an estimate calculation for either Land Registry or property search fees, then those costs will need to be revised if we are not planning to conduct searches for you or register documents at the Titles Office prior to the 30^th June 2014.

If you are planning to transfer those fees to our Trust Account in the near future between now and 30^th June 2014, please first call our office on (07) 3236 0001 to confirm whether the required fees will change.

As end of year is a very busy time for businesses and families, we will also be in touch with all clients who have upcoming conveyancing property settlements due around this time (where the increase in fees will affect your matter) and an updated amount for those costs will be discussed and disclosed to you.
